Tariffs, which seemed poised to rock the economy just last month, may now be at least partially in the rearview mirror. With the administration walking back many of its planned levies, analysts at CoStar Group are looking for signals about where the economy is headed. With positive and negative signs, the uncertainty of trade policy alone may be enough to push the economy into a contraction.
